Due to working as an Integrative Counsellor I use different ways to explore what you decide to bring to therapy. We believe that the therapeutic relationship which is created by us is a priority in our work which can focus on your present life and links that stem from your childhood.

In the therapy room, we can slow down the noise of life and begin to explore at your pace what you want to be curious about in your life. We can do this by bringing things into awareness that may not be fully available in our conscious mind, I believe working with the unconscious allows us to work at depth to make sense of unhelpful patterns and behaviours that we may have.

Exploring relationships in our lives can often be helpful in the therapy room, it allows us to understand the impact of others upon ours lives and consider where are boundaries lie.

I am a qualified EMDR Therapist. This way of working has supports people who are recovering from trauma and distressing experiences using guided eye movements. This is a treatment used on the NHS and has been highly researched and approved by the world health organisation.
